Guide to Adventures & Expeditions (GAE) is only a private division under the China Xinjiang Kashgar Xinlu International Travel Services Co., Ltd, it was established in Urumqi, the capital of China Xinjiang Urgur utonomous Region as long ago as 1994. It is also one of members of Central Asia group. And now we have a branch in Kashgar, too. During Mr Guo Jin Wei, the director was doing one of his most difficult and hardest crossing in Taklamakan - the worst desert in the world in 1993, he got his decision of establishing his own company. That is Guide to Adventures & Expeditions (GAE). In the following years, GAE is the specialist in running trekking, climbing, mountain biking, desert crossing and rafting trips throughout Xinjiang, Tibet and Sichuan province in China, as well as cultural tours not only along the great Silk Road but all over China, too. With each passing year, a growing number of people become switched on to GAE, choosing to visit the far-flung corners of China, rather than take a more sedentary holiday nearer home. GAE brings its own very special rewards - to leave its footprints into unknown and cultured ruins which are lost and buried in the worst Taklamakan Desert for thousand years, to climb to a high pass, within sight of an array of Kunlun peaks, Karakorum peaks, Tianshan peaks, thread your way through a crowd of merchants and market-goers at a not only Chinese market but also a Central Asia Bazaar, is to create memories which will last for a lifetime.
