 Mr
Guo Jin Wei (a typical Chinese gentleman ), the only director
of Guide to Adventures & Expeditions (GAE), which is under
the China Xinjiang International Sports Travel., was born on May
30, 1958. He is only one of few experienced Chinese explorers
and expedition organizers who have been working and offering his
good experiences, providing his good services to European expeditions,
American explorers for more than 20 years ! Personally, he has
done a lot of exploring and expeditions himself, for instance,
as one of the three Chinese climbers, he did a reconnaissance
climbing to Mt Ulugh Muztagh in 1984, and as one of the few organizers,
he took party in the Joint American - Chinese Ulugh Muztagh Expedition
to climb Mt Ulugh Muztagh in 1985. He is also the only Chinese
organizer to help Charles Blackmore to make the Joint British-Chinese
Taklamakan Desert Crossing Expedition possible in China, and he
is the only Chinese leader to make this first crossing successfully
by human. With other British and other Chinese members together,
he made the first record by human to do such serous and tuff crossing
on foot from the very west edge of Taklamakan, the worst desert
on earth, to the end of east edge. It took his 60 days on walking
to finish more than 1,500 kilometers in this worst desert. Mr
Guo Jin Wei still keeps some distance crossing in this worst desert
every year. He is the only few experts in China, who could organize
desert crossing expedition successfully every time. He is also
one of four founders to establish the famous Nature Travel Service
in China, and the only Chinese founder who established Overland
tours traveling all over China by special trucks. In recent 10
years, GAE receives many climbing expeditions which are coming
to do their climbing explores in Kun Lun mountains, in Tian Shan
mountains. As their Chinese agent, Mr Guo offers a lot of his
helps and professional suggestions which makes a lot of expeditions
and individual explorers off the serious and dangerous accidents.
