Day 01 You are met and picked up at the Tuogart Pass on the border of China and Kyrgyzstan. Further transfer down to Kashgar. Check in your hotel for night

Day 02 Do your last checking and preparation in this city
Day 03 Drive along a part of the famous Karakorum Highway until arrive at Subash, where your camels are collected. Camp for night

Day 04 Start your trekking after breakfast and it takes 5 hours to reach at the climbing Base Camp at the foot of Mt Mustagh Ata. The distance today is about 4or 5 miles. Set up your Base Camp here

Day 05 Explore towards climbing Camp One.

Day 06 Trek across Yangbulak Glacier to Kongur Glacier. About 7 miles covered this day.

Day 07 Trek about 4 miles to Mt Kongur climbing Base Camp (Mt. Kongur elevation, 7719 m.).

Days 08/10 Explore the area in the vicinity of Mt Kongur and Mt Muztag Ata. This area is inhabited by nomadic Kirgiz shepherds. Support transport provide by bactrian camels owned by Kirgiz. Average elevation above 3500m.

Day 11 Trek 10 to 12 miles (mostly downhill) to Kara Kul (on Karakoram Highway with a great view of Muztag Ata).

Day 12 Drive to Kashgar. Stop in oasis villages along the way, where named Opal. Eat lunch there, a primarily Uighur village.

Day 13 Visit Kashgar Sunday Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest bazaars in Central Asia. Over 100,000 mostly minority Turkic-Mongol Uighur people may attend this bazaar to buy and sell livestock and goods. In the evening we fly to Urumqi, capital city of Xinjiang, Province.

Day 14 Drive to a Kazak village on the south side of the Bogda Massif (section of the central Tian Shan) and trek into mountains. This area inhabited primarily by minority Kazak shepherds who will be providing support transport with their horses.

There will be time to visit Kazak families and their yurt homes as we traverse this section of the range. First day trekking distance around 5 miles.

Day 15 Trek around 5 miles up to a pass (around 3300 m) and camp near Mt. Bogda (5445 m). Horse herds may be seen in the vicinity. Ibex and ovis poli may still inhabit the area. There are some massive glaciers nearby.

Day 16 Free for exploring near the glaciers and surrounding peaks.
Day 17 Complete traverse on range trekking around 7 miles north and down to Heaven Lake. Camp near the lake. Time to explore the pine-spruce forests and visit with Kazaks.

Day 18 Spend morning exploring. In mid-afternoon drive back to Urumqi.
Day 19 Spend this whole day to relax. But if you want to see how the Chinese people do their morning exercise, you should have to get up early and to go to the Peoples¡¯ Square. Then you will see: some people play Taiji Boxing, some people play Beijing Opera, some people dance, some people play the Yang Ge, a kind of traditional Chinese dancing ¡­ After your breakfast in your hotel, go and visit the huge, typical Xinjiang Bazaar.

Day 20 Fly Urumqi to Bishkek by XO717 at 08:05 am, All the services end in the Chinese part. Our best partner, ITMC Tien-Shan will take a good care of you in not only in Bishkek but all over Kyrgyzstan..
